On March 15, the Grand Jury presented to the Pike county cir- cuit court the following indictments for nathan evans, who has been in the Pike county jail since decem- ber, 2022: Indictment number One: dealing in controlled substance resulting in death, a Level 1 Fel- ony and Indictment number Two: reckless homicide, a Level 5 Fel- ony. Bail for the indictments is set at $1 million, 10 percent permitted. The Grand Jury found that on or about august 22-23, 2020, in Pike county, evans knowingly delivered heroin and fentanyl to sean hill, who ingested the drugs, which di- rectly caused and resulted in the death of hill. The Grand Jury found that evans recklessly killed hill by delivering the heroin and fentanyl, and that evans knew he had caused the near overedose fatality of his wife, Tanielle evans, to his friend hill, who then ingested the drugs, causing his death.
