Trees were on the road. We had a potential of having another one Sunday (March 12, 2023). Doris Jones— I went out to eat with some friends on Friday evening, came and picked up my daugh- ters. We survived on tomato soup for days. Billy Wells — The (Wells Jenkins Wells) meat plant was closed. No one could get up the hill to work. We were snowed in, but we had power. Tonya Garrison — I had the fl u. My Dad came to pick me up and I stayed with my parents for a few days. David Brooks — I was teaching school in Cleveland County and we were out of school for days. Kay Brooks — My husband died in December (1992); I had 400 cows to feed. The cows were in Union Mills, Sunshine and Cleveland County. Neighbors and others had to help me feed them, taking chainsaws to cut trees from the roads so we could make a path to get to them. I could tell you a lot of stories.
