The General John Gibson Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Saturday, April 8th, from 10:00-12:00, at the Princeton Public Librar y for the annual awards program for the American Essay Writer and Good Citizens winners. He was born in Princeton, on Jan. 27, 2003. He was a member of Mau- mee General Baptist Church in Johnson. Hunter was an avid NASCAR fan and had the time of his life when he met Jeff Gordon through the Make a Wish Foundation. He loved North Carolina and Duke basketball and any team who played the Kentucky Wildcats. He loved to ride four wheelers, his golf cart and going to Mesker Park Zoo. He would play his computer games with his nurse for hours on end. He was "The Boss" and ever yone knew that. He suffered from Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. He is sur vived by his mom, Kim Sutton, of Johnson; un- cle, Kerr y (Rhonda) Dike, of Johnson; stepsister, Catrina Campbell, of Fort Branch; cousins, Amanda, Cassie, Bailey, Caidyn, Kayelee and Kaleb; his precious dog, Princess; his best buddy, Kalea "Kaki" Garrett; and his favorite nurse, Peggy Jane Jines. He is preceded in death by his mom, Brandi Sutton, in 2003; grandpa, Joe Sutton, in 2003; and his great-grandpar- ents, Norman Ray and Peggy Dike. Kim would like to give a ver y special thank you to Dr. Brink, Dr. Warren, all of Hunter's wonderful nurses and his amazing teacher, Scott Walden. Funeral ser vice was at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Maumee General Baptist Church, 9482 IN-165, Owensville, IN 47665, with Pastor Kevin Miley officiat- ing. Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the Church. The Sutton family request memorial contributions be made to Maumee General Baptist Church. DONALD ALAN WALLACE Donald Alan Wallace, 73, of Owensville, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. He was the son of Charles and Doris (Lagasse) Wallace. He was born on Januar y 6, 1950 Manchester, N.H. He graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1968 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1969. He was stationed in Germany and achieved the rank of Ser- geant. He was honorably dis- charged in 1971. He worked for Denton Construction for over 10 years and retired from Gibson Generating as a scheduler after 20 plus years of ser vice. He is a member of the Princeton Masonic Lodge #231, where he was a past master, and the American Legion Post #216. He en- joyed deer hunting, fishing, woodworking, tent and RV camping and having parties with family and friends. He is sur vived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Ziliak) Wal- lace, of Owensville; children, Donald A. (Susan) Wallace, Jr., of Evansville and Kristin (Chad) Gayso, of Jasper; siblings, Richard (Carol) Wallace, of Owensville and Waughneta (Bobby) King, of Princeton; brother-in-law, Greg Wilhite, of Taswell; aunt, Lorraine Lagasse, of Manchester, N.H.; five grand- children; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Wilhite. Visitation was from 3 p.m. un- til 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, with a Masonic ser vice at 6 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home Fort Branch. Ser vices and burial were private, with Militar y Honors ser vices at the burial per- formed by the Veterans of Gibson County.
