The fifth grad- er's project was stop motion movies about the book. approximately 75 students and parents participated in last Thursday's sTeM Fami- ly night with many more help- ing throughout the day. Wes is receiving positive feedback on the sTeM ini- tiative and is excited to see where this leads. "One of our big goals for next year is to involve area businesses and local leaders in some of the events," Meyer said. "We'd also like to bring in more speakers either virtual or in person." Joseph O'Brien can often be seen carrying his favorite hen, Henrietta, around the yard or snuggling on the couch watching TV and eating snacks. When Henrietta sees Joseph coming, she stops, sits, and moves her wings out so that he can easily scoop her up and carry her to their destination. Four year old Joseph O'Brien holds his beloved pet, Henrietta, as his older broth- er takes them for a sled ride this winter. "What harm can come letting him love a pet like one might a cat or dog," said his mother, Casey O'Brien. "He is only little once, we're just soaking this phase in and making memories."
