Red Bluff is no exception. The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce is comprised of more than 400 businesses, individuals and organizations who share a common desire to improve the community and the conditions under which business is conducted. The Chamber is the best promoter of business and events in the area. For example, the Chamber, in terms of community improvement, sponsors a "Spirit of Red Bluff" Beautification Awards program honoring local businesses for aesthetic improvements. It also assists many community organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Tehama County, the Kelly- Griggs Museum and the Sacramento River Discovery Center, with their programs and projects. The Chamber founded and developed the Tehama Economic Development Corporation, the area's vitally important and successful economic and job development organization. The Chamber serves as the administrative arm of the Downtown Red Bluff Business Association and presents two scholarships each year to deserving Tehama County high school graduates. The Chamber assists area agricultural businesses with "certificate of origin" credentials in order for them to ship their products to foreign countries. The Chamber's new Friday eBLAST is a very popular communication tool for it's members. Finally, the Chamber, through its Electronic Message Center sign, provides advertising and promotion 16 hours per day to area businesses and countless community organizations for their events and projects. The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce is at 100 Main St., and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.
