"We Have a Ghost" (2023) Take a trip through the funnier side of the paranormal world with the new adventure comedy film "We Have a Ghost" when it premieres on Netflix Friday, Feb. 24. After mov- ing to a new town for a fresh start, teenager Kevin (Jahi Di'Allo Winston, "Queen & Slim," 2019) is set on fitting in at school and making the best of his situation. But when Kevin discovers a ghost named Ernest (David Harbour, "Stranger Things") haunting their home, he rockets his family to internet fame by starting up a YouTube channel starring their spooky new friend. While being inun- dated by a host of oddball characters looking for a chance to capitalize on the latest viral craze, they also find themselves a target for the CIA as they begin to investigate the mystery of Ernest's past. Based on the short story "Ernest," by Geoff Manaugh, "We Have a Ghost" is directed and written for the screen by Christopher Landon ("Freaky," 2020). The film's cast is rounded out by Anthony Mackie ("Captain America: The Win- ter Soldier," 2014), Erica Ash ("Scary Movie V," 2013), Niles Fitch ("This Is Us"), Jennifer Coolidge ("The White Lotus"), Tig Notaro ("Army of the Dead," 2021), Tom Bower ("Die Hard 2," 1990), Faith Ford ("Murphy Brown") and Steve Coulter ("She- Hulk: Attorney at Law"). "Outer Banks" - Season 3 The adventure continues when "Outer Banks" returns to Netflix Thursday, Feb. 23, with its third season. Set in a coastal town along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, this teen mystery drama focuses on the stark social divide between the wealthy seasonal residents and the working-class locals who live there year-round. When a group of teenagers set out to solve the mysterious death of one of their friends' fathers, they find a legend- ary treasure map that comes with an unbelievable prize and a dark secret. This season finds the Pogues washed ashore on a desert island that (however briefly) seems like an idyllic home after losing the gold and fleeing the Outer Banks. Officially deemed "Poguelandia," the island's newest residents spend their days fishing, swimming and reveling in their carefree new lifestyle. But things quickly turn sour for John B. (Chase Stokes, "Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad Poets," 2021), Sarah (Madelyn Cline, "Glass On- ion," 2022), Kiara (Madison Bailey, "Black Lightning"), Pope (J.D., "Do Revenge," 2022), JJ (Rudy Pankow, "Uncharted," 2022) and Cleo (Carlacia Grant, "Greenleaf") once again when they find themselves running for their lives in a race for the treasure. Broke, far from home and trapped on an island where no one can be trusted, and with Ward (Charles Esten, "Nashville") and Rafe (Drew Starkey, "Love, Simon," 2018) hungry for revenge, the last thing they need is another obstacle — but this one comes in the form of a ruthless Caribbean Don who will stop at nothing to claim the bounty for his own. Created by Shannon Burke ("Abandon," 2002), Jonas Pate and Josh Pate (both of "Surface" and "Good vs Evil"), the new season is directed by Jonas Pate and Valerie Weiss ("Suits"). Austin North ("I Didn't Do It"), Carolina Arapoglou ("Stranger Things"), Julia Antonelli ("WITS Academy"), Cullen Moss ("Your Honor"), Deion Smith ("Will Trent") and Charles Halford ("True Detec- tive") also star.
