Grand opening of new single-family home neighborhood in West San Jose Robson Homes, a local builder with nearly 35 years of homebuild- ing heritage in Silicon Valley, announces the grand opening of Rose- wood at Camden Park, a neighborhood of 40 single-family homes in the Cambrian area of West San Jose. Two fur- nished model homes are now open for tours and the builder has released their first homes for sale. Rosewood at Cam- den Park is located off of Union Avenue on Cully Place, a private street that runs adjacent to Camden Park. The neighborhood is de- signed as a single cul-de- sac street of new homes. "It feels like its own private neighborhood here," says Charles Bald- win, director of sales for Robson Homes. "With the park next door, the Los Gatos mountains in the backdrop and this long, wide street lined with beautiful homes, it's truly a wonderful set- ting." Three floor plans are under construction in the first group of homes, each with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. All homes have a full bedroom suite on the first floor. The 2,900-square-foot Ascot is a traditional two-story home with a ground-floor bedroom suite and upstairs den. At 3,281 square feet, The Kensington offers a dedicated study and at- tached accessory dwell- ing unit (ADU) suite on the first floor. With up to 3,790 square feet, The Claremont is a spacious home with a den and study, plus a detached garage with a one- bedroom, one-bathroom ADU above. The Ascot and The Claremont are fully modeled. As impressive as the model homes are, what is really remarkable at Rosewood is the qual- ity and finish level of the available homes in the neighborhood. Rob- son Homes focused on making each residence unique with distinct architecture, custom details and designer- selected interiors that rival any custom home on the market. From the hardwood floors, to the marble slabs in the kitchens, to the uniquely selected light fixtures, these are truly beautiful, tasteful homes that are built to last. "In terms of features, finishes and details, these are the highest- end homes we have built," remarks Mark Robson, owner and president of Robson Homes. "The care and attention given to every selection really stands out. I am excited for people to experience these homes." Several homes in the first sales release are move-in ready, with oth- ers scheduled for com- pletion in the next few months. In addition to designer-selected interi- ors, these homes include appliances, backyard landscaping and solar panels. Prices start at $3.1 million. Rosewood at Cam- den Park's sought-after West San Jose location is close and convenient to transportation, em- ployment, shopping and recreation. It's just a short drive to downtown Campbell, downtown Willow Glen and Los Gatos. The neighborhood is served by excellent Cambrian Elementary and Camp- bell Union High School districts. Directions, floor plans and more informa- tion about Rosewood at Camden Park are avail- able on the builder's website at www.robson homes.com/neighbor hood/rosewood. Small renovations that can make a big impact BY METRO Home renovations provide a host of ben- efits. Such projects can increase resale value and improve the safety, aes- thetics and functionality of a home. Some homeowners may employ the man- tra "go big or go home" when they embark on home improvements, thinking that only the largest renovations produce noticeable change. But that's not the case. Various smaller renovations can provide a lot of bang for homeowners' bucks as well. Countertops and hardware A complete kitchen overhaul may stretch some homeowners' budgets. However, changing an older countertop for a new material can provide the face-lift a kitchen needs. And while changing the cabinets may be homeowners' ultimate goal, swapping hardware in dated fin- ishes for newer handles and pulls can provide low-cost appeal.
