Samuel. She has published the Broad River Trilogy, a series of novels set in the Chimney Rock and Lake Lure area. She talked about ideas for the books, the mechanics of writing and publishing a novel and showed the group some of the notes she used while writing the books. She also gave a preview of a book expected to be released this spring and a book she hopes to be ready for sale at Christmas. One lucky participant won a set of the trilogy and others purchased books and had them autographed.
