Lindsey Barr, a teacher and a concerned mom, was fired after voicing concerns for her own kids. In August, Barr learned about a picture book that was going to be presented to young students, during a librar y read-aloud program. The book, "All Are Welcome," contains several illustrations of same-sex couples parenting and expecting children. Her two youngest children were in first and third grade at McAl- lister Elementar y School. She spoke to McAllister's princi- pal, "as a mother, expressing my concern that the book's illustrations conflict with my faith and the values I seek to impart to my children, and I simply asked that they be excused from the read-aloud program." The school responded to her concerns by firing her. She can no longer substitute teach at McAllister or any of the eight other Br yan County Schools. In California, a nonbinar y teacher boasts on changing students' genders without par- ents knowing. Olivia Garrison, a 9th grade histor y teacher at Del Oro High School in Loom- is, California, said "'My job, which is a public ser vice, is to protect kids… Sometimes, they need protection from their own parents," A New York Times article says Garrison "has helped students socially transition at school without their parents' knowledge." The school district Gar- rison works for also blocks parents from knowing about their child's transitions. The district has a pronoun change request form that students can fill out without their parents' knowledge. I could cite hundreds of sim- ilar examples from schools all over the countr y. Rural Amer- ica is not beyond the reach of the crazies. I recently at- tended a school performance for one of my grandchildren. Programs were available that listed all the students perform- ing and what they did. I looked for my grandchild's name and couldn't find it listed in the program. I asked my daughter why it wasn't listed. She point- ed to my grandchild's name in the program. I discovered the all-American rural school allows students to change their name and gender iden- tity. School administrators are following the crowd. I shudder to think what schools will be like in 20 years? Schools no longer focus on reading, writing, and arithme- tic. They are now instruments of social change. Colleges and Universities are hotbeds of socialist, and communist thought taught by anarchists who hate America. Teachers fresh out of col- lege are primed, ready to— brainwash—our children with the latest godless dribble. Johnny can't read, but she/it/ them/they look cute in a dress and lipstick. One teacher suggests in- troducing gender theor y to toddlers. She claims children as young as three years old can understand gender. She boasts the prime time to teach about transgender and gender non-conforming children is preschool to third grade. "I've done research. I have got my doctorate degree," says she. What is in store for this so- cially woke gender fluid gen- eration is found in the book of Proverbs: "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not de- part from it Pr 22:6." Adam Guillette might have it right: "Get your kid the heck out of traditional public schools." The plane is going to crash.
