PHOTOGRAPHY BY MICHAEL BLANCHARD (FEIGHERY, PETTY); RYAN MIDGETT (GOTTESMAN) It's been a scorching-hot few months that have had us running to a beach, boat, or harbor every chance we get. We celebrated the unofficial start to summer at the Nantucket Wine Festival, held at the White Elephant hotel, with delicious food and wine. The Bruins kept us on our toes for most of June with their seemingly unstoppable hot streak. It was tough to see the season end, but we are already looking forward to seeing the team back on the ice this fall. We kicked off the season with our Summer in the City party at Smith & Wollensky on Atlantic Wharf and were joined by our good friends at Russian Standard Vodka to raise glasses in celebration late into the evening. I was honored to get outside and practice my swing at the National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic at the Boston Golf Club in Hingham, an event we sponsored alongside Putnam Investments, Tiffany & Co., and Cadillac. Thank you to Alex Wayman for once again coordinating such a successful tournament. As the real estate market continues to heat up in Boston and the surrounding suburbs, agent Jill Follow me on Facebook at Boudreau of Coldwell Banker Facebook.com/boston-common and on held an open house at a Wellesley bostoncommon-magazine.com. estate for the top 100 brokers in the city. I was lucky enough to be on hand to hear Barbara Corcoran from ABC's Shark Tank share her journey to the top of the real estate world. I was also excited to run into mayoral candidate (and my good friend) Mike Ross at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries' Good Party in June. The fĂȘte was designed by Rafanelli Events, and they did a fantastic job of turning the organization's headquarters into a beachy oasis. It wouldn't be summer without Boston Common's annual trek to Nantucket for our island party. We had a beautiful evening at The Summer House catching up with friends and celebrating with FBNConstruction and Cisco Brewers. While it's been a busy summer, we are excited to return to the city for a lineup of great charity and fashion events this fall. Hope to see you there.
