Even so. Amen. Revelation 1:7 For more than forty years the voices of Cleve- land County Choral Soci- ety have celebrated the Christmas season. This year the concert will be held at Central United Methodist Church in Shelby, North Carolina. Two concert dates are scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday December 4 at 3 p.m. Under the direction of Kenneth Brooks, the CCCS will perform a work, commissioned for the 40th Anniversary season, writ- ten by Joseph M. Martin. The first half of the concert will be "Tidings of Joy" a Celtic Christmas Celebration by Joseph M. Martin. A collection of familiar lyrics and tra- ditional English and Irish melodies, the work leads the listener through the excitement, wonder and ultimate joy of the birth of Christ. After intermission, the CCCS will perform a selection of popular and well-loved seasonal pieces. "We Need a Little Christmas" by Jerry Her- man, arranged by Mark Hayes, "Christmas is for Children", Hayes, "White Christmas" Berlin ar- ranged by Mac Huff, "It's A Wonderful Christmas", Hayes.
