Born in Cherokee County, SC, he is the son of Helen Brooks Ford of Shelby and the late Fraizer Littlejohn. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Veronica Roseboro. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Cedric McGill of Gastonia; sister, Joyce Littlejohn of Charlotte and April Littlejohn of Shelby; and a grand- daughter. Robert "Bob" Lee Absher Jr., 78, of Grover, NC, passed away November 15, 2022. He was born October 24, 1944, in Gaston County, son of the late Robert Lee Absher Sr. and Gladys Wilson Absher. A celebration of Bob's life was held November 19, 2022, at Harvest Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Gary Teague. Bob is survived by his wife, Patti Absher; sons, Robert Lee Absher III and wife Paula, Charles Phillip Absher; sisters, Kay Pittman and husband Paul, Rita Clark and husband Max, Alice Hansel and husband David; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchil- dren. Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Glenda Jones Lancaster of the home; daughters, Olita Conrad and husband, Josh and Shelley Shoemaker; two grandchil- dren; and siblings, Joyce Elrod, Dorothy Hanna, DIANA LYNN HUSS HOUSER Mrs. Diana Lynn Huss Houser, 53, of Casar, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Lynn was born on June 8, 1969 in Lincoln County, NC, a daughter of Dorothy Sue Hester Whisnant and the late Buddy Huss. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Survivors include her husband, Jason Houser of the home; a son, Jonathan Houser (Jamie) of Lincolnton; a daughter, Melissa Jane Houser Osorto (Marvin); nine grandchildren; a sister, Susan Walker; and a brother, James Huss both of Lincolnton. Mrs. Franck was born on June 25, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter of George Davis Leiser and Alta Norris Leiser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Franck; a son, Rondal Franck and his wife Kim and a grandson. Survivors include her hus- band, Larry O. Franck of the home; a daughter, Vicki Ehlen (Eric); three sons, Michael Franck (Renee), Timothy Franck (Joy Ellen), Robb Franck (Jodi); a sister, Barbara Jean Merrick and a brother, Lowell Leiser; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Psalm 18:10 Crockpot Macaroni & Cheese 1 package (16 oz.) elbow macaroni 1/2 cup butter, melted 4 cups (16 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese, divided 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted 1 cup 2% milk 2 large eggs, beaten Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker; add butter. In a large bowl, mix 3 cups cheese, evaporated milk, condensed soup, 2% milk and eggs. Pour over macaroni mixture; stir to combine. Cook, covered, on low 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until a thermom- eter reads at least 160°. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cook, covered, on low 15-20 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 10 servings.
