David A. Aviles is a Bronx-born,
New York native who spent over
15 years of his professional career
serving the public, leading teams,
transforming organizations, and
impacting communities throug-
hout New York City. He serves
as the Senior Manager of Career
Success at The Knowledge Hou-
se, a Bronx-based social change
organization that empowers and
sustains a talent pipeline of te-
chnologists, entrepreneurs, and
digital leaders.
His prior experience as an
executive leader with Equus
Workforce Solutions, paired with
his passion for public service, has
garnered public recognition from
the New York State Assembly, the
Office of the Bronx Borough Pre-
sident, the NYC Mayor's Office,
Crain's New York Notable Lea-
ders, and as a Bronx A-List hono-
ree, for his commitment to con-
necting thousands of qualified
candidates from all communities
to career opportunities across the
five boroughs of New York City.
David also led the top- per-
forming workforce development
program operating within the
New York City Department of
Education Public School System
in conjunction with the New
York City Department of Youth
and Community Development
that empowered at-risk young
adults through education, life
and employment skills training,
coaching, character building and
mentorship. In 2017, he founded
Career Ready Resume, a career
consulting firm providing job
seekers, career changers, stu
-
dents, and recent graduates.
David holds a master's degree
in management, a bachelor's
degree in business administra-
tion and an associate's degree
in information technology. He is
a consummate professional ex-
perienced in the non-profit and
for-profit sectors, currently ser-
ving as a member of the board at
Northern Manhattan Commu-
nity Improvement Corporation
(NMIC) and Ithaca College.
