Favio is a rising leader in the
offshore wind and clean ener-
gy industry. He has made it
his career mission to build
and strengthen systems that
promote economic growth
and healthy environments for
marginalized communities.
At Attentive Energy, he leads
community engagement for
the offshore wind developers'
investments in New York and
New Jersey where he ensures
the most vulnerable commu
-
nities can benefit from the
economic and environmental
improvements that will be us-
hered by the emerging indus-
try.
Favio's career arc includes
experiences leading govern-
ment clean energy workforce
programs, senior leadership
at a management consulting
firm where he spearheaded
projects for public sector
clients, and multiple roles in
nonprofit organizations, in-
cluding AmpleSpace, which he
co-founded as an effort to in-
crease access to mental health
services for men of color.
Favio's mission is inspired
by his early years living bet-
ween the Dominican Republic
and New York City, where he
was keenly aware of the dis-
proportionate economic and
environmental challenges fa-
ced by communities of color.
Favio also witnessed how the-
se challenges were juxtaposed
by strong local efforts that
create bridges to opportunity.
Understanding this dynamic
has fueled Favio's career inter-
est and educational pursuits.
He earned a Master of Pu-
blic Administration from New
York University, where he also
co-taught a course on the fun-
damentals of nonprofit ma-
nagement. Favio also holds
a Bachelor's degree from the
State University of New York,
College at Old Westbury. He is
an alumni of the Council of Ur-
ban Professionals and a proud
member of La Unidad Latina,
Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fra-
ternity Incorporated.
He is an avid traveler and
enjoys endurance training
such as swimming and run-
ning during his free time.
Favio aims to continue
creating opportunities that
ensure communities of color
are at the forefront of the en-
vironmental protection and
economic growth represented
by the clean energy evolution.
