Season 6 of "Some- body Feed Phil" lands Tuesday, Oct. 18, on Netflix. In his quirkily titled series, Phil, as he is casually known to friends and fans, travels the globe to explore traditional cuisines. Each season sees the comedian visit five or six cities all over the world, meeting with local food experts and celebrity guests to learn about the region's history, its con- nection to food, how the local grub is produced and what goes into the area's most be- loved traditional dishes and modern (or traditional) inno- vations. Always prioritizing the fa- vorite foods of those he meets along the way, Phil takes to city streets and meets with the owners of several eateries — from small, pri- vately owned businesses to five-star restaurants and lav- ish lounges — to find the true heart of each region's cuisine. While tucking into delectable dishes of all flavors and sizes, Phil and his crew, led by his brother, Richard, always take a moment to appreciate the city's cultural diversity and heritage. For five seasons across four years, viewers have enjoyed personal, one-on-one conver- sations between Phil and his guests as they walk, eat and joke their way through their respective cities. Season 6 will be no different in that respect, and audiences can expect to see the host visit Austin, Tex- as; Nashville, Tennessee; Phil- adelphia; Santiago, Chile; and, finally, Croatia.
