Born in Cheyenne, WY, on January 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James Oscar (J.O.) Singleton Jr. and Nancy Stone Singleton. She is survived by her husband, William Dean of Carthage; a sister, Cynthia Singleton Moore (David Moore) of Inman, SC; a son William Dean II (Gwen Dean) of Carthage; a daugh- ter, Elizabeth Dean Hoyle (Trent Hoyle) of Shelby; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A celebration of Hollie's life was held at Bole's Funeral Home in Southern Pines, NC September 30, 2022. Deverie was born on February 21, 1965 in San Diego, CA, a daughter of the late Charles Pace Sones and Esther Gutierrez Sones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Oates. Survivors include two sons, Andrew Reyes of Crouse and Matthew Reyes of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Rhonda Sayer and Valerie Pendry both of Oregon; three brothers, Chuck Sones of Oregon, Bobby Sones of California and Derek Sones of Shelby; and four grand- children. Dinny Dunsmore, age 61, of Kings Mountain passed away on Saturday September 24, 2022. He was born in Frankfurt Germany on February 21st, 1961, the oldest son of the late Allen Grant Dunsmore and Wilmetta Lou Lucas, who survives her son in his passing. Mr. Dunsmore served our country in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his father Dinny was preceded in death by his daughters; Kitra Dunsmore- Garrett (Trinton), and Carrie Moore and one son, Shaye Fenske, and his stepfather, Ronald Foege.
