Please have your funeral home send us your loved ones' obituaries to events@rutherfordweekly.com Obituaries Obituaries Obituaries Obituaries ©Community First Media Community First Media Although, most of us are not authors and will never have a book published, however in a broader scope, we are all composing a story. The story of our life. The Psalmist wrote that we live our lives as a tale that is told (Psalm 90:9). With each new day a fresh page is turned. The story is a culmination of our life's choices and how they have impacted the world around us. The chapters include the good and the bad times, as well as our successes and failures. The main characters are those who have infl uenced us in some way or fashion. Some are more prominent, while others will only have made a brief appearance. Even though we cannot rewrite any chapter of our life, we do have an opportunity to write new pages and chapters. Hopefully, overshadowing any low times. There will be a day that our unique story will be a fi nished work. It is at that point the title will be selected. When we are gone, our story will be encapsulated in an obituary and shared at a funeral or memorial service. It will be the topic of conversation for those who choose to speak of our death. As with any book, we will have our favorite pages and other pages we wish were never written. We may not have the power to change the past, but with each new day we can write a new page of faith, forgiveness, love and hope. How will your story be told?
