Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere — working
together with local churches and other like-minded partners to
raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness
in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion
for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social
involvement. The staff and volunteers of YFC go into middle
and high schools to help young people make good choices and
avoid drugs and alcohol addiction, pregnancy, self-harm, low
self-esteem, suicide, criminal behavior, bullying, dropping out
of school, child abuse, and sex trafficking.

The YMCA of the Sandhills is more than a gym. It is a community
service organization whose purpose is determined by the
needs of the community. YMCA offers free summer childcare to
low-income single parents who are going to school or working
fulltime and free membership and rehab to wounded veterans
and their families. It also offers mentoring services to school
age children who have fallen behind scholastically due to the
pandemic and feeds hundreds of children free hot meals
each week. In short, the YMCA is a faith-based, ever evolving
community service organization that happens to have a gym
and a pool.
