biggest heroes personally, but not
because of his presidency. He was
a present and loving grandfather,
and when we were little, my sister
thought every grandfather got an
inauguration. He had the weight of
the world on his shoulders, but he
always took time to get down on the
ground and play with us."

Hip replacement was not in Kris Ulrich's
retirement plans. She had projects to
do and polka dances to attend. The
pain in her hip led her Dr. Jesse Botker
at the Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic in
Mankato and River's Edge Hospital in
St. Peter for a total hip replacement.
Now that she's recovered, she is
dancing again.
"I didn't think about my hip the whole
day. I just went around like I was 20
years old."
