Born in Cleveland County, NC on August 22, 1964, he was the son of the late Edgar Burl McSwain and Iva Elizabeth Williams McSwain. COYE LEE WALKER Coye Lee Walker, age 88, of Caroleen, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Coye was born Wednesday, July 4, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Buster William Walker and Elma Lee Atkins Walker. Mr. Walker served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Simmons Walker; and a brother, Alvin K. Walker. He is survived by his sis- ter, Linda Carol Terry of Caroleen; and brothers, Jerdean Walker of Forest City and Larry Edward Walker of Caroleen. The funeral service was TILDEN JOHNNY HOYLE Tilden "John" Johnny Hoyle, 91, of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on June 5, 1931, he was a son of the late Thurman Johnny Hoyle and Florence Newton Hoyle. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his three sons, Johnny Neal Hoyle, Larry Michael Hoyle, and Johnny Clyde Hoyle; two brothers, Howard Hoyle and Donald Hoyle and six sisters, Lucy Ebersole, Norma Jean Waters, Joanne Laham, Margie Reep Thelma Hoyle and Lula Sanders. He is survived by a daugh- ter Dale Histler of Grover; four brothers, Ernest Hoyle of Hickory, Robert Hoyle of Morganton, Mickey Hoyle of Casar and Keith Hoyle of Shelby; a sister, Mildred Nolting of Charleston, SC; and a number of grandchil- dren and great grandchil- dren. The funeral service was held on October 3, 2022 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Fulbright officiating. The burial followed in the St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery. BONNIE MAE DELLINGER COOK Bonnie Mae Dellinger Cook, 87, of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Born in Cleveland County on August 24, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Thurman Lee Dellinger and Hattie Elizabeth Auton Dellinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cecil Cook; one brother, Bobby Dellinger and one sis- ter, Edith Canipe. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Cook and wife Sandra of Vale, Stanley Cook and wife Shirley of Vale and Billy Cook and wife Bonnie of Lawndale; two daughters, Patricia Benton and husband Gary of Kings Mountain and Nellie Stamey of Cherryville; ten grand- children and numerous great grandchildren. The funeral service was held October 2, 2022 at Norman's Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Decker officiating. The buri- al followed in the Normans Church Cemetery.
