Proceeds help support local charities. 1706 Grassy Knob Road, Rutherfordton (1.5 miles off Hwy. 9) Celebration of the Arts (COTA), a FREE juried art show returns to the Foundation at Isothermal Community College. It is set for September 23-28, 2022 at The Foundation Performing Arts Center on the Spindale Campus of Isothermal Community College. Show hours are Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 9 am- 5pm, Sunday 1-5pm and Wednesday 9-1pm. The show features 2D and 3D art by local and regional artists, a gift shop, an ICC Student display and a Junior Artists Display, art pieces include paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, wood, metal, glass, fi ber, mixed media and more. Over 150 art pieces will be on display. The show is a project of the Rutherford County Visual Artist Guild (RCVAG,) with sponsors Stonecutter Foundation and the NC Council of the Arts. RCVAG docents and other volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and help for those who want purchase of one-of-a-kind art work.
