He is survived by his daughter, Karen Hollenberger and husband REDA FAYE BURNS Reda Faye Burns, 65, of Clover, SC, passed away on September 10, 2022. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Jesse and Irene Gourley Owens and was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee Burns. No services are planned at this time. LORIE JEAN SMITH Lorie Jean Smith, age 61, of Ellenboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 10, 2022. Lorie was born Thursday, November 17, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elmer Martin Beam and Angelina Orlando Beam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Beam and by four infant children. She is survived by her hus- band, Albert Smith; broth- ers, Joe Beam (Jeannie) of Troy, MI and Steven Beam of Palm Springs, CA; and sister-in-law, Jan Norman (Van) of Ellenboro. A memorial graveside service was conducted September 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Mills officiating. The family will receive friends immedi- ately following the service at the graveside.
