She loves to teach all ages of students. Cindy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Univer- sity of NC at Charlotte and a MAE d in Art Education from East Carolina University. Where: Eugenia H. Young Memorial Library, 104 Howie Drive Shelby, NC. More Info: QPR is an evidence-based suicide prevention training that stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer. Anyone can learn these 3-steps to help prevent suicide. The training prepares you to recognize a potential suicide crisis and know how and where to fi nd help. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. There is no cost to attend. Seating is limited to the fi rst 35 registrants.
