David Coffey, Sr., age 74, of Caroleen, passed away Monday, August 31, 2022 . David was born Tuesday, November 18, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Raymond Coffey and Grace Roberts Coffey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Junior Coffey, J.C. Coffey, Sheila Trotter, Peggy Philbeck and Lester Coffey. Survivors include his son, David Coffey, Jr. of Chesnee, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Travis (John) of Forest City; two sisters, Barbara Baldwin (Johnny) of Virginia Beach, VA and Diane Cole of Mooresboro; and five grandchildren.
