GLADYS MAE SNYDER Gladys Mae (Tedder) Snyder of Shelby, NC passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1929 in Lenoir, NC to Cora Lee (Piercy) Tedder and Cicero Tedder. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her sister, Ruby Annas and brother, Ray Tedder, both of Lenoir; son, Jerry Snyder and wife Mildred of Shelby; son, Terry Snyder of Casar; and daughter, Joy Devine and husband, David of Belmont; and four grandchildren, three great granddaughters and a great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Cicero; her husband, Sam; and her brothers, Ralph and Roy Tedder. DONALD LINDSAY WARE Donald Lindsay Ware, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 12, 2022. He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, son of the late William Brown and Eleanor Lindsay Ware and was pre- ceded in death by his sister- in-law, Joann Ware. Mr. Ware served our coun- try in the U.S. Army. Butterfield, II. her daughter, Veronica Self Hiley, and significant other Joe Conklin of Matthews, NC, and son, Steven Butterfield (Lori) of Taylorsville, NC. Gerene has four grandchil- dren, one great grandchild, and another on the way. She is also survived by her sister- in-law, Patricia Jordan. A Celebration of Life Service was be held August 3, 2022. He was born in the Bronx, NY on Nov. 4, 1954. Randy was the son of the late Carlos and Mercedes Febo Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dellinger Fernandez; five daughters, Jessica Bourgeois(John) of Florida, Stephani Tam (Ernie) of Florida, Kelly Fernandez of Utah, Jennifer Whaley (Kevin) of Ohio, and Crystal Hickman (Bill) of Ohio; three step- children, Jeff Sain (Nova) of Pennsylvania, Carrie Murray (Doug) of Grover and Daniel Sain and of Lincolnton; sib- lings, Barry Fernandez and Beverly Gilbert; and one grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Eaker Downs.
