A-4 Wednesday, August 17, 2022 The Press-Dispatch 50th Anniversary Michael Lee Jerrell and Pamela (Chesser) Jerrell, of Peters- burg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversar y on August 18, 2022. Mike and Pam were married on Friday, August 18, 1972 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gospel Center in Petersburg. Members of the wedding party included bridesmaids Myra (Chesser) Hack and Deidre (Chesser) Like, groomsmen Dave Chesser and Terr y Stone, flower girl Brenda Guy, and ring-bearer Steve Hightower. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Harold Head. A reception at the Methodist Youth Center followed the ser- vice. Mike and Pam celebrated their anniversar y in late July with a trip to Seaside, Oregon, with their children and their families: Carrie Jerrell and Will Miller, of Murray, Ky.; Brooke (Jerrell) and Ryan McKasson, and their children Isla, Bronwyn, Cora, and Roy, of Lakewood, Wash.; and Matthew and Brigid Jerrell, and their children Cadence, Eli, and Aislinn, of Seattle, Wash. Mike and Pam are life-long residents of Pike County. Mike retired several years ago from his printing business, Memo- r y Press Ministries. He's a regular morning walker at Prides Creek and enjoys reading about histor y, researching genealo- gy, and watching sports. In November 2021, Pam retired after 50 years as a hair stylist in Petersburg. She enjoys bicycling their neighborhood, work- ing in her flowers, and hosting family at their home. Mike and Pam are also frequent travelers who make regular visits to fam- ily in Kentucky, Washington State, Texas and Florida, as well as to their favorite vacation spots in Colorado and Savannah, Georgia. Most importantly, Mike and Pam share a strong faith in God, to which they give all credit for the success of their marriage. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love" (I Corinthians 13:13). Marriage licenses Dyllan Jean Kistner, 21, of 202 E. Main St., Apt. Kullen Arthur George Cook, 29, of 1219 N. Vincennes Ave., Petersburg, son of Steven A. Cook and Kelly G. Cook to Megan Nicole Vencel 33, of 1219 N. Vincennes Ave., Pe- tersburg, daughter of James Vencel and Debra Castle. With this Ring... ROYALTY REUNION The Royalty Reunion was August 14, at Jordon Park in Spurgeon. The 34 families and friends in attendance were: Doretta Royalty, Carolyn Free- land, Rhonda Enlow and Hud- son and Thea Schoening, San- dy Royalty and Kevonte Fr ye, Kalayah and Kaniyah Davis, Jean Williams, Pam Williams, Cher yl Franklin, Bob and Mar y Hume, Terri Gilstrap, Thelda Woolsey, Mark and Kathy Bailey, Wanda Russell, Cody Russell and Axel, Caiden Mallor y, ShyLee Russell, Sta- cy Russell and Terr y Strobel, Kailee Russell and Brayden Angermeier, Crickett McKin- ney, Lousie Houchin, Don and Bev Gieselman, Auna Roe, Clement and Geri Hardin. It was a Blessed Day and another year has gone by so quickly. Next year's reunion will be August 13, 2023. POEHLEIN REUNION The descendants of John and Mar y Poehlein met at the Snyder Community Center in Winslow on Sunday, August 14, for their 80th reunion. Good food, sharing stories, an auction and fun was had by all 61 family members present.
