Born in Rutherford County, NC on November 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Loyd Richard Lovelace and Shirley Jessie Blanton Lovelace. In addition to his par- ents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Alfred Lovelace, Robert Dean Lovelace and Bobby Lovelace. Survivors include his wife, Faye Clark Lovelace; son, Bryan Richard Lovelace and wife, Dana of Shelby; two daughters, Ronda McManus and husband, Tim of Lenoir and Renee Fullbright and husband, Ken of Morganton; a sister, Millie Lovelace and husband, Clyde of Bostic; two sisters-in-law, Linda Lovelace of Polkville and Clara Lovelace of Morganton; seven grandchil- dren and four great-grand- children.
