She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Garry Wright, Sr.; and sib- lings, Barbara Rebecca Homesley, James and Lewis Homesley; and Ruth Marie Homesley O'Donnell. Born in Burke County, on July 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Wofford Owens and Mozelle Grayson Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Hoyle and two brothers, Dale Owens and Kevin Owens. Survivors include her husband, Gene Hoyle; son, Marty Newton and wife, Nicole of Casar; three granddaughters; a brother, Tommy Owens of Hickory; and three sisters, Wanda McIntyre of Shelby, Carolyn Edwards of Lawndale and Recca Hughes of Easley, SC. Surviving Mrs. Manning are her husband, Carnell Manning; four sons, Dennis Manning (Tammy), Keith Manning (Amy), Scott Manning, and Kevin Manning; two daughters, Tammy Burgess and Cindy Wilson; two sisters, Brenda Cole and Martha Clark; two brothers, Zeb Starnes and Thomas Starnes; eight grandchildren; thir- teen great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great- grandchildren. Lovelace, 82 of Ellenboro, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. Born in Rutherford County, NC on November 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Loyd Richard Lovelace and Shirley Jessie Blanton Lovelace. In addition to his par- ents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Alfred Lovelace, Robert Dean Lovelace and Bobby Lovelace. Survivors include his wife, Faye Clark Lovelace; son, Bryan Richard Lovelace and wife, Dana of Shelby; two daughters, Ronda McManus and husband, Tim of Lenoir and Renee Fullbright and husband, Ken of Morganton; a sister, Millie Lovelace and husband, Clyde of Bostic; two sisters-in-law, Linda Lovelace of Polkville and Clara Lovelace of Morganton; seven grandchil- dren and four great-grand- children. The funeral service was held July 22, 2022 at Big Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Scott and Dr. Jim Richardson officiating.
