The event, sponsored by Smith's Drugs, was held in memory of Kirk Wilkerson who
suffered from Multiple Myeloma. After the 5K a fun run was held for children. John Higgins,
owner and pharmacist at Smith's Drugs presented awards to top fi nishers in each division.
Proceeds from this year's race, which is part of the Rutherford Outdoor Coalition race series,
went to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and locally to the Yokefellow Service
Center and Chase Corner Ministries.
