Clark, 34, 1005 E Por ter St., Winslow, was arrested for habitual traffic violator, possession of meth- amphetamine and parapher- nalia following a traffic stop on SR 61 by Pike County Dep- uty Briar Meadors. Clark was driving nor th on July 15 in a 2004 Jeep in Campbelltown community and crossed the centerline according to the repor t. Clark told Meadors that he didn't have a driver's license and was a habitual traffic violator. During a search of Clark, a green plastic tube containing white powder was found in a front pocket which field test- ed positive for methamphet- amine. Clark was transpor ted to the Pike County Jail, charged with habitual traf- fic violator, possession of methamphetamine under 5 grams and possession of parapher nalia. Duncan arrested for illegal consumption By James Capozella Press-Dispatch News news@pressdispatch.net A failure to stop at SR56 and SR61 near Pike Central resulted in a charge of illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage for Gavin Duncan, 19, 303 N Geiger St., Hunting- burg. Pike County Deputy Clint Boger made a stop on a Dodge Charger at Lakewood Drive on midnight Friday after ob- ser ving the southbound vehi- cle fail to stop at the SR56 and SR61 junction. Duncan said he was 19 years old and had nothing to drink, but officer Meadors obser ved glassy and blood- shot eyes. During standard field sobriety tests, Duncan registered a .057 BAC on a PBT. Duncan told Meadors he had a little whiskey at a concer t. A passenger, Lane Doades, told Meadors that Duncan was on probation. Duncan then said he was on probation for drinking, according to the report. Duncan told officer Meadors that he had approx- imately four minor consump- tion charges through Dubois County. Duncan was charged with illegal consumption of an alco- holic beverage and transport- ed to the Pike County Jail. Women's golf outing at Prides Creek Kristi Stone, Melissa Traylor and MacKenzie DeWeese won the Women's Golf Outing on Saturday morning, shooting four under par, 32 for the nine and dine event. There were 27 participants.
