She is survived by a brother, Buren Warlick (Joanne) of Shelby, NC, a sister, Vertie Redmond of Shelby, NC, and a sister-in- law, Mary Warlick Grigg of Lawndale, NC. Born July 12, 1936 in Cleveland County, NC, Genette was the daughter of the late Cletus Guy Warlick and Minnie Proctor Warlick and was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Miles Hord, six broth- ers, John Warlick, Brady Warlick, Lawrence Warlick, Fred Warlick, Hazel Warlick, and Floyd Warlick, and two sisters, Ethel Warlick Griffin and Mary Lou Warlick Maynor. A Funeral service was held July 2, 2022 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Tom Runyon. Burial followed in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late James and Elma Hamrick Thornburg and was preced- ed in death by her husband, Thomas Dover. She is survived by her Sons: Thomas Dover Jr. (Carol) and Randy Dover (Angela), both of Kings Mountain; and a grand- son. Fannie was born in Gaffney, SC to the late Robert "Bob" Justice and the late Artie Speagle Justice on October 3, 1926. In addition to her par- ents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Justice (Annie), George Justice (Flora), Hattie Haney (Richard), Charles Justice (Nancy), Bonnie Woodard (Leslie), Robert Justice Jr. (Mae), Thomas Justice, and Hugh Justice; and a sister-in- law, Mable Justice. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and RJ McCall of Shelby; her grand- son; her great-granddaughter; a brother, Marion Justice; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Justice, and Mae Freeman. A funeral service was held July 3, 2022 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Canton. Reverend Sammy Bennett officiated and Mr. Richard McCall delivered the eulogy in remembrance of his grandmother. Burial followed in Crawford / Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde with Mr. David Justice officiating at the graveside committal service. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you do a kind deed for some- one and know that Fannie would be so proud. BOBBIE DEATON YATES Bobbie Deaton Yates, 86, of Shelby, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Essie Wilson Deaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Jack Yates; sons, Jackie and Robbie Yates; a granddaugh- ter; brother, Don Deaton; and sister, Carolyn Cowart. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Yates of Shelby; son, Jeff Yates and wife Rebecca of Ithaca, NY; sister, Joyce Tatham and husband Jack of Shelby; and three granddaughters. Born in Cleveland County, on July 18, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Rev. William Lawrence Blanton and Vangie Crotts Blanton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Barry Turner and three brothers, Jerry, Bob, and Jack Blanton. She is survived by her hus- band, Paul Dale Harmon; a son, Larry Turner of Newton; two stepdaughters, Carol Harmon of Shelby and Sandra Descheneaux of Bryan WILLIAM F. P. COXE III William F. P. Coxe III passed away on June 26, 2022. Born November 4, 1953, he was the son of Ann Fuller Field and William F. P Coxe Jr. He is survived by his moth- er; two brothers, F. Field Coxe and Lyman B. Coxe; sister-in- law, Flo Henry; four daughters, Carolyn McBrayer, Mary Coxe, Ann Coxe, and Sarah Coxe; and three grandchildren. BETTY RUTH ROARK Betty Upchurch Roark, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 26, 2022. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Marvin Upchurch and Doris Upchurch, of Kings Mountain. Betty was preceded in death by father, Marvin Upchurch, and sister, Shirley Wright, both of Kings Mountain, NC. She is survived by her Husband, William Lawrence "Billy" Roark Jr., Kings Mountain, NC; mother, Doris Upchurch, Kings Mountain, NC; daughter, Holly York and husband Travis York, Cherryville NC; son, William Lawrence "Tripp" Roark III and Melissa Roark, Kings Mountain, NC; sisters, Barbara Biddix, Kings Mountain, NC, Dale Wright and husband Luther Wright, Kings Mountain, NC; and seven grandchildren. Funeral Service was held June 30, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC. Interment was at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings College Station, TX; brother, Wayne Blanton of Monroe; two sisters, Nadine Turner of Kings Mountain and Betty Huffman of Connelly Springs; and five grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Price Greene of the home, two children, Angela Annas (Tallant) of Shelby, NC, and Sheila Hamrick (Dean) of Shelby, NC, a granddaughter, two great grandchildren, and a sister, Louise McNeilly (Maynard) of Polkville, NC. Born January 20, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC, Tommy was the son of the late Hugh Greene and Virginia McKee Greene and was preceded in death by a brother, David Greene and his wife Kathy Greene. Mr. Greene served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. A private service will be announced by the family at a later date.
