Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, prosecut- ing violations of ordinances in the Municipal Court and representing the City in various capacities. Assignments include covering juvenile, environ- mental, jury division, traffic, and other dockets; reviewing charges for fil- ing decisions; reviewing files for plea recommendations; researching legal matters and writing briefs; and interacting with judges, criminal defense bar, court personnel, victims, witnesses, and defendants. Qualified appli- cants have been admitted, or are eligible to be admitted, to practice law in Oklahoma state and federal courts. Criminal law experience as an intern or attorney is required.
