Islands has attracted a di- verse group of buyers, each looking for something that suits their household size and needs. With so many people working from home, flexible floor plans and extra bedrooms have been very popular. It is not uncommon to see a tech center, a dedicated home- work space and one or two home offices in a single home. Neighborhood prices vary widely based on the size of the homes being offered and their ameni- ties, but generally, home pricing starts in the mid- $600,000s and ranges up to over $1 million. The homes at River Islands are a reflection of the vision of the fine homebuilders who have been selected to bring new-home designs to the community. Homes being offered today range in size from a 1,447-square-foot plan with three bedrooms all the way up to six- and seven-bedroom designs and homes with more than 4,000 square feet of living space. The River Islands master plan allows for approximately 15,000 residences to be built on its 5,000-acre site. The land development team is always working on future areas for development in the project to ensure that builders are able to pro- vide new home offerings throughout the course of the year, for years to come. River Islands is also adding new lifestyle ame- nities to keep up with the growth of the com- munity. Two new lakes are now open. The large, multipurpose 15-acre community park is under construction, and a park is underway in the Ava- lon neighborhood. The third K-8 charter school, a member of the River Islands Academies, will open in August, as will the Ninth Grade Acad- emy — the first phase of River Islands High School. The best place to start a tour of River Islands is online, at www.River Islands.com. All of the floor plans, elevations and video tours are available online. Current pricing for every neighborhood is available on the site. Content provided by River Islands Robson Homes, a local builder known for their beautiful, well- appointed homes, just debuted a new floor plan at Oak Tree Circle, their neighborhood of 25 single-family homes in Campbell. The four- bedroom plan, called The Violet, is priced in the $2.6 millions. "This is our least expensive home at Oak Tree due to square foot- age," comments Charles Baldwin, director of sales and marketing, "but I won't be surprised if it's one of our most popular. It is just so functional and flexible." The Violet is de- signed in the long tradition of two-story single-family homes, with a bonus third story of flexible-use space. At the front door, guests are greeted with a beautiful view through the great room and dining room to the kitchen with a large eat-in island. On the first floor, there's also a wonderful mudroom and powder room that lead to the two-car at- tached garage. The owner's suite and two secondary bed- rooms, each with their own walk-in closet, are located together on the second floor (the spa- cious laundry room with sink is conveniently lo- cated on the same level). The bonus third story features an airy loft, a fourth bedroom and a full bathroom. This flexible-use space is per- fect for a kid's playroom, home office or guest suite — the possibilities really are endless. It is becoming in- creasingly rare in Sili- con Valley to find new single-family homes. In fact, Oak Tree Circle is the only new community with traditional-style homes in all of Campbell and Los Gatos. Includ- ing The Violet, five floor plans are being built, each with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half or four bathrooms. The largest plan, The Rose, also features a one-bed- room accessory dwelling Robson Homes debuts new floor plan at Oak Tree Circle in Campbell Shown here is The Camellia plan at Oak Tree Circle by Robson Homes, one of the five plans available.
