Nancy was born Monday, April 23, 1945 in Cleveland County to the late Benjamin Earl Wease and Mamie Luckadoo Wease. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson. She is survived by her hus- band, Hugh Wesley Grigg; a daughter, Sharon Grigg Champion and husband, Mark Champion; a son, Wesley Grigg and wife, Billie Grigg; three brothers, Benny Wease and wife Martha Wease, Don Wease and wife Vivian Wease, and Johnny Wease; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A memorial service was held May 2, 2022 at Mulls Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Black offi- ciating. LAVADA MARI WILSON SAIN Lavada Marie Wilson Sain, of South Daytona, FL, for- merly of Cleveland County, passed away on February 24, 2022. She was born on March 8, 1932, in Lincolnton, NC, to Evan Morris Wilson and Nell Harris Wilson. Lavada is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Hugh Wesley Grigg; her father-in-law and mother-in- law, Dennis and Cora Sain; and her sister, Bertha Wilson Stone. She is survived by her daughter Danita Sain Stokes (Stan); her son David (Laura) Sain; and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
