While the weather didn't coop- erate on two of the days, the week of April 4-8 was great fun. A big thanks to the sponsors of our event, who worked with our games to provide funding and food. There was a grand total of 129 partic- ipants in the games and SilverArts, which was an increase of 30% compared to the 2021 games. Plans are already underway for next year's games, so be on the lookout for infor- mation about the games around January 2023. A Sensational Week Of Senior Games! Pictured above: Among the games offered in the Senior Games is "Chair Volleyball", a new game added to the roster just last year. Played like regular volleyball, the partici- pants must remain seated while the game is in progress. It's great fun and is growing in popularity! Some of the Gardner-Webb stu- dent assistants, who had never heard of the game, asked to play the seniors. The students couldn't get enough of the game!
