Natalie Russell, Briar Bruce and Leah Cooper tour Marengo Cave with their classmates. Zakiah Biggs reaches the Candyland Castle and chooses a candy prize. The kindergarten students practiced their math skills as they navigated the Can- dyland route set up in their classroom. Harper Riggs pours her ingredients together, as the kindergarten students do a science experiment. Kindergarteners Cameron Braunecker, Athe- na Sharp, Jessalyn Dupont, Gracie Hornby, Oliver Brown and Koraline Schwindt show off their candy prize after completing their turn, in Mrs. Hudson's Candyland game. Some of our fourth grade students are pictured with Kyla Estey, from the Pike County Soil and Water Conser- vation District. All fourth grade students were given an American Plum tree to celebrate Arbor Day. The SWCD partnered with Toyota to provide the trees for the students. Miss Sutton shared her resources with us for a STEM activity, "Digging Fossils." The fifth grade students from OMA have found many different fossilized remains, especially shark teeth. Canton Capehart and Sawyer Kabrick work together to find fossils.
