The Daily Star, Oneonta, N.Y., Friday, April 29, 2022 20 By Sevvalnur Kokten TV Media Home sweet 'Home?': Fans of "Not Safe with Nikki Gla- ser" will be thrilled to hear that Nikki Glaser ("FBoy Island") plans to launch a new reality show upon her return to her hometown of St. Louis this spring. "Welcome Home Nikki Glaser?" premieres Sunday, May 1, on E! "The first time someone told me, 'Nikki, you're gonna be on E!' was when I was about to walk into the EDM tent at a music festival," Gla- ser says in the sneak peek. "But the second time I was told, 'Nikki, you're gonna be on E!,' I was like, 'Oh, so, like, the streaming services said no?'" In this half-hour series, Gla- ser embarks on a challenging journey of self-discovery. After her move out of Hollywood, the comedian finds herself re- lying heavily on the support of her parents, Julie and E.J. Gla- ser; her childhood friend Kerst- in Robertson; her platonic roommate, Andrew Collin; and even her ex-boyfriend, Chris Convy. As if moving wasn't tricky enough, Nikki must also deal with a comedy of errors while trying to find love anew. Though she has returned home, her focus is sharp, and she hustles harder than ever to make sure her star continues to rise. As music becomes a new passion for her, she often enlists her family members' help in her professional life — to their satisfaction or embar- rassment. Even though Nikki is at the top of her career, her family and friends still recognize her as the same girl from St. Louis. Produced by Evolution Media, the series features executive producers Alex Baskin ("The Real House- wives of Beverly Hills"), Douglas Ross ("Vanderpump Rules"), Brian McCarthy ("Jerseylicious"), Ailee O'Neill ("Medal of Honor") and Sarah Kane ("Botched") alongside Glaser. realtalk Nikki Glaser, star of "Welcome Home, Nikki Glaser?"
