Sea- son 9 features six new cou- ples along with one returning couple, Ariela and Biniyam, who were first introduced to fans during Season 2 of "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," which aired in autumn 2020 and continued into Season 3 of the TLC spinoff. Each season begins with the international person in each couple getting approved for their K-1 Visa, a process that allows foreign nationals from outside the United States to live with their part- ner in the U.S. Things are rare- ly as simple as they seem, however, and each couple is given just 90 days from the moment they unite in the United States to assess their in-person compatibility and get married. Ariela and Biniyam aren't the only duo dealing with drama this season, as a one- night stand between Emily and Kobe in China soon turns complicated when they learn they're expecting a child. "I can't believe we're doing a pregnancy test right now," Emily says in the sneak peek trailer released by the net- work Thursday, March 10. Among the couples, Bilal and Shaeeda learn that they both have different expecta- tions of their marriage, and Shaeeda begins to question their relationship when she is asked to sign a prenuptial agreement. Kara and Guiller- mo, meanwhile, find them- selves at odds over Kara's past relationships, with Guill- ermo wondering if her past infidelity is something he can make peace with before they tie the knot.
