Dale was born Tuesday, April 23, 1963 in Rutherford County to the late Mary Jo Lynch Kiser and Dan Kiser who resides in Forest City. In addition to his father, Dan Kiser, he is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Kiser of Ellenboro and April Kiser (Greg Brown) of Forest City; sisters, Sheila Ingle (Danny) of Forest City and Tina Kiser of Granite Falls, NC; and four grandchildren. Born in Cleveland County on January 12, 1974, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Odus and Gay Frances Whitaker Scism.
