"His divine power has giv- en us everything we need for a godly life through our knowl- edge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having es- caped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make ev- ery effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-con- trol, perseverance; and to per- severance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qual- ities in increasing measure, they will keep you from be- ing ineffective and unproduc- tive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoev- er does not have them is near- sighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins" (II Peter 1:3-9, NIV ). Help yourself to "FREE FOOD" and may God Bless all of you. There are twelve things that satan might say to his de- mons if they were at a confer- ence together from, "David Jeremiah." I wrote them down thinking they might be something good to pass on to you. Remember satan is the great deceiver and this is how he would carry out his intervention plan. 1-Keep them busy with non-essential things. 2-Tempt them to over spend and to go into debt. 3-Make them work long hours to maintain empty life- styles. 4-Discourage them from spending family time, for when homes disintegrate, there is no refuge from work. 5 -Overstimulate their minds with television and computers, so they can't hear God talking to them. 6 -Fill their coffee tables and nightstands with newspapers and magazines so they will have no time to read the Bible. April 1, youth night at 6:30 p.m. April 15, Good Friday ser- vice at 7 p.m. "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house" (Hebrews 11:7). The word 'house' literally means household or family. Jesus said in Matthew 24:37, "As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." God looked down in Noah's day and "saw the wickedness of man was great on the earth", yet every- one carried on as if nothing was wrong. They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage right up un- til the door to the Ark closed. It is no accident the term mar- rying and giving to marriage was used. I believe God was extremely grieved over the carelessness of which they were starting families and bringing children into a wick- ed world with no regard for their future. Jesus said just a few verses later in Matthew 24:43, "But know this, that if the good- man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up." If 'house' was understood in Hebrews 11:7 to mean fam- ily, lets understand it to mean family in Matthew 24:43 also. Let me state verse 43 like this: Fathers, the wickedness of man is great on the earth, pro- tect your families, make your homes an ark and do not let the thief break up your home.
