Among those were (left to right) Mary Silvers, Kay Linder and caller Mona Ruppe. While some residents sat in the hall, some sat in the doorways of their rooms and others sat in the dining area. Bingo for rest home residents Article & Photo Provided By: Jean Gordon Volunteers working with Rutherford Housing Partnership were able to completely reroof one roof and did half of the other roof in just two days recently. Volunteers included a team from North Carolina State University and the AmeriCorps group that arrived recently. The AmeriCorps team is the TIDE 5 team and will be working in Rutherford County through the second week of May. The NCSU team worked fi ve days.
