A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Arlie and Brenda Sue Hale Dunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nanette Cash. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Dunn of the home; daughter, Tiffany Hester and husband, Matt of Vale; sons, Chris Dunn of Gastonia and Scott Dunn Jr. of Monroe; sister, Vickie Brown of Lincolnton and Donna Bruns and husband, Adam of AL; brother, Jeff Dunn of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
