She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelda Hendrick; father, Pratt Street; and her sisters Margaret Kirkland and Rebecca Holmes. Born in Cleveland County, on September 4, 1956, he was a son of the late J.W. Brackett, Jr. and Mildred Miller Brackett. He was a salesperson for the Shelby Shopper and was a member of Kadesh United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Appalachian State University. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Brackett. Survived by a sister, Peggy McCombs and husband Elbert of Douglasville, GA, sister-in-law, Debby Brackett of Moyock, NC; nieces and nephews, Dustin Brackett and wife Anna, Jacob Brackett and wife Tammy, Michah Brackett and wife Kristie, Rebecca Thomas, Leah Byrd and husband Jeremai, Jeremiah Brackett and wife Sarah, Brian McCombs and wife Tannis and Kevan McCombs and wife Sonya Wheatley; and numerous loving great nieces and nephews.
