The next market date is January 29 and hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The winter market is every other Saturday, weather permitting, until after April 2. The inspection was conducted January 7 by Tom Iseley, Ph.D., P.E., Dist. M. ASCE, PWAM, Professor of Engineering Practice, Beavers Heavy Construction Distinguished Fellow, Construction Engineering and Management, Purdue University. He joined Lake Lure Public Services Director Dean Lindsey on the warranty inspection. The penstock inspection was successfully completed. Weighing 7 pounds and 14.5 ounces Ayla was born to parents, Chawntel and Jesus, Saturday, January 1 at 2:04 a.m. at Rutherford Regional's Birth Place. "We are so excited to meet the newest member of our family," said Chawntel. "We are so grateful to the physicians, nurses and staff at The Birth Place for taking such good care of us and making this experience special for our family."
