Gentry Memorial Scholarship available to area Seniors Daviess County Right to Life has announced they are offering a $500 Scholarship in honor of Donna Gentry to a Daviess or Pike County High School Senior who presents the best essay to the theme "What is happening to Amer- ica because of abortion." Donna Gentry leaves a long list of accomplishments, not only in the Right to Life Move- ment and the Pregnancy Care Center, but also in other com- munity organizations. Donna Gentry, who was the founder of the Pregnancy Care Center touched many lives and by her many accomplishments in the Pro Life Movement she will long be remembered. This Scholarship is one way the lo- cal Right to Life Organization would like to see her legacy carried on. This Scholarship is open to all High School seniors in Daviess and Pike County and they must also be a resident of Daviess or Pike County and will need to verify the college of their choice for the fall of 2022. Applications must be postmarked no later than Fri- day, April 8, 2022. Contestants are to re- search, write, and present an original pro-life essay devel- oped from the theme: "What is happening to America be- cause of Abortion." The essay must be at least 500 words in length and not more than 550. Applications are available from your local high school guidance counselor or from the Daviess County Right to Life and when applications are completed they can be mailed to Daviess County Right to Life, P.O.
