The couple's newest show, "Married to Real Es- tate," is scheduled to pre- miere Thursday, Jan. 13, on HGTV and the discovery+ streaming service. Well known to HGTV view- ers because of their aforemen- tioned property series, Sher- rod and Jackson are balancing their busy personal lives with their even busier professional lives in their newest project. Over the course of eight epi- sodes (with the possibility for more if it does well during its first run), the duo help their clients to nab the perfect house for their location, needs and desires, all, of course, at the right price. Combining Sherrod's de- sign talents and insights into the housing market with Jack- son's renovator's eye and unique ability to see the po- tential in any space, the pair have no trouble finding the right house to turn into the perfect home, time and time again. HGTV president Jane Lat- man was excited to announce the project in a 2021 news re- lease, saying, "Egypt [Sher- rod] already built a huge fan base as a proven real estate and renovation expert, but now we get to see her in ac- tion with Mike [Jackson], her husband and business partner, and together they are posi- tively irresistible." "If Egypt and Mike are on a home-buying and renovation team," she continued, "every- one wins." And win they shall continue to do.
