2 • WASHINGTON COUNTY POST • SUNDAY, JANUARY 9, 2022 GMTODAY.COM By Karen Stokes Special to Conley Media GERMANTOWN — Annette Trenkle, a mobile pet groomer from German- town, recently opened a small home based artisan bakery for pets, Dog Gone Great. "Dog Gone Great, makes everything from scratch and by hand with a lot of TLC," said Trenkle. Trenkle would bake cook- ies and treats for her pet grooming clients as a gift and she would get requests for her dog cakes and other treats. During the pandemic in 2020, she was at home for a few weeks, sidelined and couldn't go out to work. "I thought this was a good time to think about moving the baking into a business," said Trenkle. "I just wanted to inspire happiness. Our goal is to have fun with this small business and help out our community and put smiles on people's faces and pets as well." Some popular favorites are the pumpkin n' spice pup- cake, cheesy cheese bags and small and large barkuterie boards but the most popular treat is the peanut butter based little gingerbread guy. "We cannot keep these things in stock, they're fly- ing off the shelf," she said. Felines are not left out. Cat owners can treat their pets to Dog Gone Great salmon based treats. Done Gone Great uses locally sourced ingredients, many organic, and all fresh. Free delivery to customers in the Germantown area and US domestic shipping is available. To order treats and learn more about Good Gone Great go to Facebook/Instagram: Dog Gone Great llc at www.doggone- greatllc.com or call 262-674- 4429.
