Jeff Melton photo Cleveland Community College held a ceremony to recognize and celebrate graduates from the 17th class of the Electrical Lineworker Academy. Graduates from the Electrical Lineworker Academy completed at least 240 hours of training to become profi cient in pole climbing and other tasks, as well as learning how to identify and install more than 200 items. The class spent about 160 hours earning CDL, OSHA construction, CPR and other additional certifi cations. Training these students are experienced instructors who each have 30 or more years of experience working in their respective industries. All graduates have received job offers. Ap- proximately 75 children and adults attended. Gifts, food, candy/fruit bags and toys were given to all that attended. Sharon Martin is President of the organiza- tion.
