This year the Rutherfordton police offi cers provided a fun-fi lled day for 52 children in need throughout the community. "What an amazing and wonderful feeling it was to see Christmas through the eyes of a child for several hours, and to truly see how fortunate most of us really are," said one offi cer. "We are so grateful that we had this opportunity to do something special for these families. This wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of those that wear the badge, the generous donations, and to everyone that helped us make this day possible."
