The Christmas auction is back, where customers who spend money get tick- ets that enter them into a chance to win prizes. The Holder's family, including Monty Lamey, Debbie Lamey, Joe Lamey and Erika Horstman, wants people to know that not only is their furniture high-qual- ity and reasonably priced, but it's also in- stock during a time when many retailers are having trouble keeping furniture on the showroom floor. "Over a year ago, we started pre- paring for this," said Joe Lamey. "We planned ahead and knew what was hap- pening." He said part of that is a 147-year histo- ry in the furniture business—an indus- try where store closing and out-of-busi- ness sales are all too often the norm. Not for Holder's, as they see through the fourth generation for the family busi- ness. As for gifts, he said rocker recliners make a great gift, but those who want to spoil themselves should consider Res- tonic mattresses, made right here in In- diana, delivered from Holder's to their door. Erika agreed. "Good sleep affects your entire day, inside and outside the bed," she said. The store is a stress-free environ- ment, but for those who don't know what they want, the family has interior deco- rators to help find the perfect pieces to create a new look for your home. "It's some of the best pricing of the year, readily available," Joe said. "I think so much has been put off, it's time to treat yourself." The Holder's Furniture Christmas Open House is kicking off with giveaways, chances to win and chances to save from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday during their store-wide event. Monty Lamey, Debbie Lamey, Joe Lamey and Erika Horstman welcome you to their open house this week.
