A delightful way to start is with a
beautifully appointed charcuterie
board. Although charcuterie boards have long been
a staple for entertaining at home, due to social
media, and more recently during Covid, they have
become extremely popular. So what exactly is a
charcuterie board?
The word "charcuterie" is derived from the
French words for "chair" and "cuit" which literally
means cooked flesh, and refers to the "charcutiers"
in France in the 1400s who specialized in creating
products made from just about every part of the
